Postgraduate studies consist of 3 stages, respectively (Master’s – PhD – Professor):

  1. The master's study is the study stage that comes directly after completing the university study and is called (Master). Master's study in Turkey is divided into two types:

The first is a master’s degree with a thesis, called “TEZLİ” in Turkish.

It is called by this name because the study at this stage requires studying materials and preparing a master's thesis in the field of specialization and approval by the university. The duration of the master’s study here may be two years divided into four semesters, two of which are for the project, and sometimes the master’s study extends to three years.

The second is a master’s degree without thesis, called “TEZSIZ” in Turkey.

It is called by this name because the study at this stage requires studying materials and preparing a graduation project only. The duration of the master’s study here is one year divided into three semesters, including a project. This type does not require a thesis, as the student is satisfied with attending lectures to gain information and scientific experience.

  1. As for the doctorate, it is the stage that follows the master’s stage, in which the subjects are studied in addition to preparing the doctoral dissertation in the field in which it is taught, and the period of study in this stage extends to 4 years in Turkey with the best curricula and academic cadres, and it encourages foreign students to a great extent and grants them scholarships With various advantages and low tuition costs.
  2. As for the professor’s stage, it is considered the last stage in postgraduate studies, after which the specialist can become one of the capable scientific figures in his field of specialization, in addition to the possibility of teaching him in universities with ease.

Completing postgraduate studies (Master's and PhD) in Turkish universities has many advantages, the most important of which are:
